Synopsis

In the 1970s, the Hell's Kitchen wives—Kathy Brennan (Melissa McCarthy), Ruby O'Carroll (Tiffany Haddish) and Claire Walsh (Elisabeth Moss)—of three New York gangsters Jimmy Brennan (Brian d'Arcy James), Kevin O'Carroll (James Badge Dale) and Rob Walsh (Jeremy Bobb), continue to operate their husbands' rackets after the men are sent to prison by the FBI.

The ladies take the Irish mafia's matters into their own hands—and to everyone's surprise, they turn out to be adept at running the rackets—even when it comes to taking out the competition.
