Synopsis

Sam, who has a job as a department store Santa, is planning to rob the store as soon as the doors close on Christmas Eve. However, before he can put his plan into place, a bunch of kids beg him to tell them a story, so he tells a very personal version of the adventures of Aladdin, in which he and his entourage play various roles.

According to his interpretation, the hero of the tale is a hustler who’s unmasked by Princess Shallia. The young con artist is arrested by the evil Vizir and condemned to die in the desert. A magician who witnessed the arrest saves him and gives him the task of entering a secret cave to retrieve an old lamp. When he finds the lamp, the young man accidentally releases the genie who was imprisoned inside. With the help of the genie, who promises to fulfill five of his wishes, Aladdin returns to Baghdad to avenge the vile Vizier and win the heart of Shallia. But the magician, robbed of his precious lamp, has something to say about that.
