Synopsis
Writer Gabriel Noone (Robin Williams), who tells his stories on the radio, experiences a personal slump when his boyfriend Jess (Bobby Cannavale) decides to leave him. But when his editor sends him a manuscript to get his opinion, Gabriel becomes hooked by the story.It’s written by Pete (Rory Culkin), a teenager who was taken away from his parents. They, along with their friends, sexually abused him from a young age. Now living with Donna, a social worker, Pete’s been diagnosed with AIDS. Pete and Gabriel connect via phone, but Gabriel begins to believe the boy may not really exist.
