The Sweet Escape

Synopsis

For his birthday, Michel’s friends surprise him with a three-hour plane ride, because he’s fascinated by postal planes. However, he’s disappointed by the gift, because what he loves about flying is the freedom associated with taking off and going anywhere you want, whenever you want.

The graphic designer, who finds himself experiencing a midlife crisis, decides to buy a kayak, because the wooden skeleton of the boat resembles an old-fashioned plane’s wing. He launches the kayak into a picturesque creek in the countryside and sets off on an unexpected adventure.
