The Winslow Boy Affiche de film

The Winslow Boy

L'horizon emmuré

Read in French

Synopsis

Adapted from the play by Terrence Rattigan -- which was earlier made into a film in 1948 -- this is the tale of a young navel cadet who is brought to trial after being accused of stealing a 5 shilling postal note.

Unusual for Mamet who most often goes for the guttural, visceral and downright profane, this is a nuanced drama that shows the effects the trial has on everyone involved.
