For the 60th annual Cannes Film Festival, 34 filmmakers from 25 countries were invited to create a three minute short film on the topic of cinema.
Among the collaborators were director David Cronenberg, making a film about a suicidal Jew who refuses to leave the last movie theater in the world, actor Takeshi Kitano as a rural projectionist and director Nanni Moretti reflecting on 7th century art in various Italian museums.
