Versailles

Synopsis

Nina and her five-year-old son, Enzo, are homeless. They meet Damien, a solitary vagrant who lives in an isolated hut in the forest of Versailles.

Damien lets Nina and Enzo stay with him for a night. In the morning, he finds out that Nina has run away. Nina plans to get back on her feet again—to find a job and a home, and then return for her son.

Damien, a former criminal with little patience, doesn't feel he's cut out to be the guardian of a child, so he decides he needs to mend fences with his father, whom he hasn't seen in years, in order to provide a father figure for the boy.
