Synopsis
Sherwin Owens (David Oyelowo) is grieving the death of his wife Fiona (Hani Furstenberg). Before she passed away in a car accident, she left him one last voicemail asking him to meet her mother Lucinda (Dianne Wiest).
When Sherwin finally decides to make the trip, he discovers Lucinda is dying from cancer. Sherwin tries to connect with Lucinda despite their differences in age and race as both struggle to deal with the loss of Fiona and an uncertain future
