Synopsis
Life Lessons, written and directed by Jonny Lumpkin, the story of Joey Hill(Johnny Lumpkin ) as he must confront life's many challenges. The story begins with the death of Joey's younger brother Jason Hill (Nasir Clark ), this devastating loss plunges him into a deep depressive episode that turns his life upside down.
Months after his brothers passing Joey begins selling drugs and hanging out with the wrong crowd with the hopes of becoming everything his little brother idolized. But, Joey has no experience in the game so Will (Tecey Travolta ), his best friend took him on as a partner in an attempt to get out of the game himself.
Although Will is a big time low key hustler, he made a mistake putting on inexperienced Joey who consistently battles depression, identity, purpose and love. When Kenya (Neveda ), the object of Joey's affection and also the person who saved his life gets kidnapped, Joey is snapped back to reality.
He must confront Kenya's kidnapper who is connected to his drug supplier. Watch to see if Joey and Will learn what it takes to survive in the ruthless game of life before it's too late.
