Synopsis
Director Stephen Hopkins ditches the campy style of the 1960s TV show to create a straight science-fiction action adventure. Twenty-first-century Earth is facing a global ecological disaster, sending John Robinson and crew to colonize the distant planet Alpha Prime.
The ill-fated intergalactic voyage aboard a sabotaged spaceship is peppered with humorous cameos by many of the original cast members.
