Résumé

Nick Carraway (Tobey Maguire), un jeune homme originaire du Minnesota, déménage à New York afin d’apprendre à oeuvrer dans le milieu des obligations financières. Là-bas, il loue une maison dans un quartier chic du quartier West Egg de Long Island. Éventuellement, il fait la connaissance de son voisin Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) et se retrouve pris dans son monde de fêtes et de gens extravagants.

Le scénario du film est basé sur le roman de F. Scott Fitzgerald.
