The Twilight Saga: Eclipse pourrait repartir avec huit trophées aux prochains MTV Movie Awards. Le film est en lice pour le Meilleur film aux côté de Black Swan, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Inception et The Social Network.
De plus, on retrouve Robert Pattinson et Taylor Lautner en nomination pour Meilleur acteur avec Zac Efron (Charlie St. Cloud), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1) et Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network).
Kristen Stewart se retrouve en nomination pour Meilleure actrice et fait face à Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Emma Stone (Easy A), Emma Watson (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1) et Jennifer Aniston (Just Go with It)
