Born Gabriella Zanna Anstruther-Gough-Calthrone in Hampshire, UK, Gabriella Wilde is the daughter of businessman John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthrone and former model Vanessa Hubbard. Gabriella has one younger sister Octavia and five half siblings from her parents’ previous marriages. She attended the all-girls boarding school Heathfield School but was transferred to St. Swithun's School when she was suspended for smuggling vodka to school. Gabriella also studied fine art at the City & Guilds of London Art School until she dropped out to pursue acting.

Gabriella began modeling at the age of 14 when supermodel Naomi Campbell noticed her and signed her to Premier Model Management. Gabriella went on to appear in campaigns for big name companies such as Lacoste, Abercrombie & Fitch and Topshop. She also posed for popular magazines such as InStyle, Cosmopolita and Vogue.

Gabriella made her acting debut in December 2009 in the British comedy film St. Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold. In 2010, she appeared as a minor role on the popular British television series Doctor Who. Gabriella made her American and film debut alongside Logan Lerman and Orlando Bloom in the 2011 film The Three Musketeers.

Having gained attention from her role in The Three Musketeers, Gabriella was cast in the pilot for Dark Horse, a sci-fi television show for ABC. Unfortunately, the show was not picked up for the 2012-2013 television season.

Gabriella also starred alongside Chloë Grace Moretz in the remake of the thriller,Carrie. Her latest movie, Endless Love, co-starring Alex Pettyfer as her romantic love interest, is set to be released in 2014.

Gabriella is engaged to musician Alan Pownall and the couple are expecting their first child.
