HAYDEN SZETO

Date of Birth: September 11, 1985

Although Canadian actor Hayden Szeto has been in the entertainment business for many years, he only began breaking into mainstream Hollywood in 2016, earning roles in the horror mystery The Unbidden and the ensemble dramedy The Edge of Seventeen.

Born Hayden Chun Hay Szeto in Vancouver, British Columbia, Hayden comes from a long line of artists; he is the son of a painter, Nigel Szeto, and the grandson of the famous Chinese painter, Kei Szeto.

Over the next couple of years, Hayden appeared in numerous short films, including Free Love (2012) and The Wrong Guys (2013), and TV series, including Chop Shop and Too Cool For School.

In 2016, while Hayden continued working in shorts, he also began earning parts in feature films, first in the horror flick Fortune Cookie, followed by the horror mystery drama The Unbidden. He then played Hailee Steinfeld's love interest in the coming-of-age dramedy The Edge of Seventeen (2016).
