Synopsis
In 1960s New York, Walter Stackhouse (Patrick Wilson) is a successful architect married to his beautiful wife Clara (Jessica Biel). Their lives seem perfect. But his fascination with an unsolved murder leads him into a spiral of chaos as he is forced to play cat-and-mouse with a clever killer.
At the same time, during a dinner party, a guest brings a young woman (Haley Bennett) and Walter is attracted to her. They flirt, which causes Clara to become jealous. And with good reason. Walter and the woman begin an affair. But when Clara winds up dead, Walter is the prime suspect.
