Synopsis

Merlin Dervisevic’s Canadian fantasy thriller tells a story of an ESL teacher Edgar (David Richmond-Peck), a man wrongfully accused of killing his wife Maylon (Bernadette Saquibal). Edgar finds himself trapped for eternity in a mysterious institution where he is sentenced to continuously relive her death or until enlightenment – whichever comes first. Edgar begins his journey towards enlightenment in a mandatory group therapy session.

With the help of his fellow inmates, Edgar comes up with a risky plan to end this horrible cycle of reliving that dreadful day and to set everything right. Ultimately, Edgar learns that there is more to his story than meets the eye, and that he is actually the one to blame. Edgar must accept his own faults to achieve serenity.

The film was shot in the Vancouver area.
