Synopsis

John Biswas (Amitabh Bachchan) is stunned by grief after the kidnapping and death of his little granddaughter. Years later, he continues to seek for justice to be dealt to the perpetrator responsible for the crime.

Policewoman Sarita Sarkar (Vidya Balan) swings into action when an identical crime is repeated eight years later and fresh clues come to light in the first kidnapping.
